Autumn seems to be in its final stages, with a succession of windy days bringing more leaves from the trees.
There has also been over a ten degree drop in daytime temperatures over the last few days. November it seems is finally beginning to conform to type.
It seems that balmy afternoons like the one I photographed here a few days in Avenue Wood at Temple Newsam may well be over for another year.
