Autumn is moving ever onwards at Temple Newsam. The trees in Menagerie Wood are beginning to take on their bare winter appearance. The woodland floor though at the moment is a beautiful crisp brown carpet. No doubt as winter approaches it will turn into the thick black goo that trees love so much!
