I had hoped for something special as my photo from ‘the park’ on Christmas Eve. However this project has been about a year of strolls around a city park that I have known since childhood. The theme of the images that I have presented from Temple Newsam I hope have not been seen to be contrived. I wanted them to represent ‘the park’ as I saw it, my mood and that of the British weather.
Nothing special for Christmas Eve then just a photo as I walked around Temple Newsam with my dog. This field is the site of a medieval village and the gate leads from Temple Newsam into Colton. This is now a suburb of Leeds but was until not too long ago a village on the edge of the city.
I will be resting my weary limbs tomorrow and trying raise my enthusiasm for the last week of this year-long project. Maths was never my strong subject. I think though I have worked it out correctly, one photo a day after tomorrow until New Years Eve and I’m done. Phew!
