I have tried to ignore the fact but summer is leaving us for another year, the signs are definitely there. Autumn is just around the corner. Leaves are beginning to change colour and the hedgerows are packed with fruit. Not being much of a forager, the only edible hedgerow plants I know are blackberries and elderberries which were everywhere on my walk around ‘the park’ a few days ago.
