I have to be honest and say there have been odd times during my year of visiting ‘the park’ that I have struggled to find a photo for this feature. It shouldn’t be a problem in a park the size of Temple Newsam but 300 photographs of trees would surely have been too much.
There are of course always new things to photograph as I discovered just the other day exploring the outside of Temple Newsam House. The drainpipes of the house seem to be made of lead as I suppose they would be on a property of this age. At various places along the pipes are little motifs such as this one. Beats my cheap white plastic gutters at home!
